Description:
This is a fine quality pair of antique English Sheraton style mahogany inlaid armchairs, constructed in the Edwardian period, circa 1901 – 1910, which have been newly, in excellent condition. Constructed with a classical Sheraton square frame design, with a straight top rail and arms. The armchairs have been newly upholstered in a top-quality pale gold satin brocade, to a professional standard, with newly re-sprung seats, finished with matching double-piping to the frame and traditional hessian backing to the underside. The armchairs are raised on elegant tapering mahogany legs, decorated with satinwood string inlay to the legs and frieze, which terminate on top quality replacement English made solid brass castors, which are in excellent condition. The mahogany frames have been cleaned and French polished by hand, to a professional standard in our workshop.
This pair of armchairs would look superb in a variety of rooms from the bedroom, living room or hallway. They would certainly grace any traditional or contemporary home, and are a great investment as they are extremely functional.

Condition Report:
This is a fine quality pair of antique English Sheraton style mahogany inlaid armchairs, constructed in the Edwardian period, circa 1901 – 1910, which have been newly upholstered in a pale gold satin brocade, to a professional standard, in excellent condition. The upholstery is therefore clean and free from any marks or damage. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the mahogany frame but nothing significant considering their age. The chair legs terminate on top quality replacement English made solid brass castors, which are in excellent condition. The mahogany frames have been cleaned and French polished by hand, to a professional standard in our workshop. The armchairs are solid in joint and ready to use.
