Here is a stunning quality pair of antique English Queen Anne style beech armchairs, constructed in the Edwardian period, circa 1900, which have been newly upholstered in a light grey fabric, to a professional standard, in excellent condition. The armchair boasts a stunning quality upholstered beech frame, with a shaped back, upholstered scroll end arms, set above a shaped upholstered apron. The armchair is raised on turned front legs, which boast carved gadrooning and scroll carved feet, with turned and block legs to the rear. All four legs are united by shaped, moulded criss-cross stretchers, with a central turned finial. The chairs have been newly and professionally upholstered in a taupe grey colour cotton fabric, with matching braiding, as well as traditional hessian backing to the underside. The seats incorporate new removable English feather stuffed cushions, which are extremely comfortable to sit on, while at the same time you do not sink into them.

This pair of Queen Anne style armchairs is in excellent condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the mahogany frame but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The chair has been newly upholstered, to a professional standard, in a taupe grey colour cotton material, with matching braiding, as well as traditional hessian backing to the underside. The upholstery is therefore clean and free from any marks or damage. The seats incorporate new removable English feather stuffed cushions. The cushions are well-stuffed (but not overly so) and is extremely comfortable to sit on, while not allowing you to sink into it. As the chair frames boast the original polish, they have a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning they have received. The chairs are solid in joint and ready to use.
