The underside of the chaise has been traditionally upholstered in hessian backing material. The chaise stands on its original reeded baluster mahogany legs and boasts the original mug castors, which are all in good condition too.
This chaise features a rich dark brown mahogany colour. It has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received. It is impossible to re-create this colour if it has been re-polished.
