Description:
Here is a fine quality pair of antique Victorian English burr walnut & birds eye maple occasional circular tripod tables, circa 1860, in excellent original condition. The tables, each with bevelled circular tops, features stunning grain configuration. The tops are centered with burr walnut veneers and cross-banded with bird’s eye maple borders. The table features a well-shaped and very good quality ring turned and fluted pedestal, which terminate on lovely swept carved legs, boasting foliate detail.
These Victorian tripod tables feature a rich nut-brown walnut colour. They boast fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning they have received.

This tables are in excellent condition. The tops feature excellent colour and the tops and bases are original to each other. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges but nothing significant considering their age. The pair of tables are completely original (i.e. the tops and bases are not a marriage); they have a fantastic original polish and patination. The tables are solid in joint and ready to be used.
