Here is a fine quality antique English Victorian walnut cabriole leg dressing / foot stool, circa 1870, which has been newly upholstered to a professional standard, and is in excellent condition. The stool has been newly upholstered in top quality fawn colour patterned structured cotton, finished with matching braiding, with a hessian underside. The seat itself is firm, which means that you won’t sink into the upholstery, but at the same time, it’s very comfortable to sit on. The stool features a serpentine design to the frieze and is raised on elegant cabriole legs, boasting fine floral carvings to the knees and terminating on scroll toes. Ideal for use as a footstool, in the living room or dressing stool in the bedroom.
This stool features a rich, warm mahogany colour. It has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

This antique dressing stool is in excellent condition. It has been newly upholstered, to a professional standard, in top quality fawn colour structured cotton material, with matching braiding and a hessian underside. The seat itself is firm, yet very comfortable to sit on or rest your feet. The upholstery is therefore new, clean and free from any wear, dirt or damage. The carvings are in excellent condition, with no missing pieces. The frame has also been French polished to a professional standard. Nominal old use marks to the edges of the frame, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. This item is solid in joint and ready to use.
