This is a very good quality and rare George II four drawer oak dresser base or serving table, 1730 probably originating from Montgomery, Wales, United Kingdom. All in all, this is a very beautiful piece of antique furniture. This dresser boasts four working drawers with a working key and original oak drawer linings. The Georgian brass swan neck handles are very old replacements. This section sits on a heavy freeze which is supported on four baluster legs to the front and two to the sides. The sides have raised cross-banded sides which mirrors the design of the drawer fronts. There is an original plate board back to the dresser.

This item probably originated from Montgomery in Wales. It would have provided significant storage space.
