This is a very good quality antique oak pot-board dresser base, circa 1740-1760 (George II period) originating from South Wales. The dresser base consists of three drawers with the original brass handles the drawer fronts are cushion-raised and the side’s features inset panels. The outer drawers have sham escutcheons. The central drawer has the original lock. The drawer linings are constructed of elm. The straight legs house the two plank pot-board below.
