This is an excellent quality top quality Rosewood inlaid couch, circa 1890 – 1910 which seats 2 to 3 persons. The couch consists of inlaid panels interspersed with spindles which support a deep buttoned upholstered back rest. The spring seat is supported by solid rosewood legs which sit on four casters.
The couch has been expertly upholstered in the Victorian traditional method. The upholstery is of two tone gold diamond brocade and is brand new.
Originally, the couch would have taken centre stage in an Edwardian drawing room. This couch would look superb in a variety of rooms from the hall way, living room or the bedroom.
