This is a very good quality small antique English oak Charles II style swivel drop-leaf coffee table, which has been constructed, in the late Victorian period, circa 1890. It features a swivel top that rotates 360 degrees to allow the two side leaves to be supported by the table frame when turned 90 degrees to reveal a stunning rich oak table top. The table can be used with either one or two drop leaves therefore either against a wall or in the centre of a room. It is small enough to be stored away when not in use. The table features a reeded frame and sits on 4 turned legs, which are united by four stretchers for supporting strength. The table has been constructed using the traditional pegged construction.
The table boasts a superb mid to dark brown oak colour and it is in excellent original condition. It has a fantastic colour and patination this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
