This is an attractive and superb quality Chinese solid rosewood opium padouk coffee table, circa 1890. The top consists of solid rosewood panels. Below there is a lovely pierced and beaded shaped frieze. The whole of the table sits on four mouled legs. This Chinese coffee table is unique and quirky and would be an ideal interior decorators item.

Condition Report:
This table is in very good condition and is commensurate with its age. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The item boasts the original polish. Good colour and patination to the timber. Importantly, the table is free of cup and watermarks to the to the top of the table. Free of woodworm, solid in joint and ready to use.
