Here is a superb quality pair of Edwardian Carolean wing chairs constructed circa 1910 – 1920 to reflect the style of the Restoration period (circa 1660 – 1690). Both chairs were expertly re-upholstered in Parker Knoll pink and ivory flame retardant material in the last few years and have been used little since. The cabriole legs are constructed of beech. The chairs boast a lovely curved wing shape to the backs and splayed sweeping arms. They are fitted with removable cushions which are in excellent condition. Ivory rope braiding finishes off the upholstery around the frame of the chairs. The chairs feature a sprung base below and are very comfortable due to the deep design of the frame.
