This is an unusual and superb quality antique Edwardian mahogany inlaid & glass serving side / tea table, circa 1900. The table has a detachable glass tray that sits on a rebated base so that it does not slide off the top off the table. The glass tray features a glass base with a wooden box and elegant brass handles. Below, there is a pretty inlaid open fretwork shelf. The table sits on elegant turned legs and the base of the table and legs is also inlaid with satinwood. This table is a truly classic design from the Edwardian period. All in all, this is a very pretty and superb quality table, which is completely original in condition.
The desk features a rich oak colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received. This truly is a very beautiful item with quality construction and is original throughout. It is rare to see one in such good condition.
