Description:
This is a fine quality English Art Deco three door wardrobe, constructed with burr walnut timbers, comprising three doors, a fitted interior, with a “could” shape front, circa 1930, in excellent original condition. The Art Deco wardrobe comprises an elegant Art Deco moulded “cloud” shape centre, with three doors, which boast stunning mirror matched burr walnut timbers, with a moulded frame. The doors retain their original vertical reeded wooden handles. The left-hand door retains its original working lock and key. The right-hand door also retains its original sliding bolts, top and bottom, to secure the door when closed. Inside, the Art Deco wardrobe on the left-hand side, comprises a two-door hanging space, retaining the original chrome hanging rail and 12 sliding chrome hanging hooks. The right-hand door opens to reveal a column of four open storage compartments and two glass-fronted storage compartments. The glass compartments safely open, secured by brass stays.
The Art Deco three door wardrobe, sits on its original moulded recessed plinth and the back features solid backboards. This Art Deco wardrobe dismantles into two sections for easy access into your home or up the stairs.
This Art Deco three door wardrobe, would be at home in any traditional or contemporary setting and consumes very little space. This piece boasts classic art deco styling in the overall design of the curved moulded frame, corners, clean lines to the tops, the handles and the plinth.
This large Art Deco wardrobe boasts a rich walnut colour. It has a lovely colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

Condition Report:
This is a fine quality English Art Deco three door wardrobe constructed with burr walnut timbers, comprising three doors, a fitted interior, with a “could” shape front, circa 1930, in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The Art Deco three door wardrobe has been cleaned and French polished by hand in our workshop to a professional standard. The wardrobe retains its original interior, including hanging rails and internal compartments. The doors retain their original door latches, handles and working lock (with key). The Art Deco walnut wardrobe retains its original backboards and it stands on its original recessed plinth. This Art Deco wardrobe dismantles into two sections (just below the doors and top drawer) for easy access into your home or up the stairs. This item is solid in joint and ready to use.
