This is a very attractive and good quality antique French provincial cherry wood side table from Louis Philippe period, circa 1830. This table would most likely have been used in a country property in France. The table features a beautiful cherry wood figured top, which has a stunning colour & grain configuration. The working drawer, which features the original brass knobs, closes flush to the frame. The drawer is oak lined and hand dovetailed. The table features a very pretty shaped apron to the front and sides. Below, four elegant cabriole legs support the table.
This item features a mellow cherry wood colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
