This is an attractive and superb quality antique George III oak inlaid 2ft 8” wide side table, circa 1780 – 1800. The table features a lovely two piece well figured oak top. The single hand dovetailed drawer is oak lined (a sign of quality) and features the original brass oval handle. The front of the working drawer is inlaid with double satinwood it also features cross banding to the edges of the drawer (a sign of quality) and is finished of with a cock beading. Below, there is a pretty shaped apron. Four tapering legs support the table. The table boasts a superb colour and patination to the oak.

Condition Report:
This item is in excellent condition considering its age. There are several old marks to the tabletop (e.g. old cup marks) this only adds to the character of the table. The drawer features the original brass oval handle. Working drawer. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The drawer is in good working order. Free of active woodworm, solid in joint and ready to use.
