This is a good quality antique oak George III Welsh hanging waterfall wall rack, circa 1760-1780 originating from Wales. The hanging rack features a protruding canopy. Below there is a very pretty shaped scalloped freize. The rack consists of four sectional compartments with two reeded shelves. The shelves feature a plate groove where the plates can safely sit without falling off the shelf. The sides of the rack are also reeded.
This item would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room, dining room, home office or kitchen. This item would certainly grace any home and a great investment as it is an extremely functional. So don’t miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.
Condition Report:
The rack is in excellent condition commensurate with its age. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. Free of active wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.
