The chest features a moulded top; featuring lovely mirror matched flame mahogany, with a satinwood cross-banded perimeter. Below are four graduated drawers, which boast elegant mirror matched flame mahogany to the drawer fronts; the two central drawers feature satinwood cross-banding to the sides, while the top and bottom drawers display an additional strip of cross-banding to the top and bottom respectively. The top drawer retains its original working lock, with working key. The drawers retain their original brass fretwork handles and escutcheons and dovetailed construction.
