Here is an example of a superb quality antique Victorian large light oak partner’s desk, circa 1860 – 1880. The desk boasts the original wooden knobs. The top of the desk features a moulded edge with soft round corners. The top features a single piece brown and gold tool leather. The four graduated double cock-beaded drawers in each pedestal on both have working original locks and key by “Hobbs & Co.” The desk boasts two fielded panel doors to one side with internal shelves. The drawer lining and top are constructed of the best quality mahogany. The desk dismantles into three sections for easy storage or transportation.
