Condition Report:
These adapted bedside chests are in excellent condition and commensurate with age. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. There is slight fading on one side of each bedside which is hardly noticeable – these bedsides have been adapted from a dressing table some time ago. The drawers are smooth running and close flush to the frame. The drawers feature the original Victorian blue paper drawer lining which is very rare. There are some marks and small tears to the blue drawer linings in some of the drawers – this is to be expected if it is original and does detract from the quality or its condition. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.
