Here is a very good quality large antique midsized oak Welsh George III tilt top tripod table, circa 1760 – 1780. The top is constructed of two pieces of solid oak. The tilt top table has the original working hinge and brass locking mechanism – the top locks into the brass locking mechanism. The table features a well shaped ring turned pedestal terminating in lovely umbrella shaped legs with the original umbrella shaped feet. This table is completely original without any breaks or damage and has fantastic colour / patination.
The table would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room, dining room or hall way. The table would certainly grace any home and is a great investment as it is extremely functional. So don’t miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.

Condition Report:
This table is completely is in very good condition. The top and base is original. The working hinges and brass locking mechanism are original. There are no breaks to the stem or legs. Nominal old use cup marks and a slight undulation to the top but nothing significant considering the age of the item. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.
