These fine quality chests have four working hand dovetailed graduated mahogany drawers with original brass handles of Edwardian design. The bedside chests boast cushion fronted mahogany lined drawers with the fronts being veneered in burr maple. Both chests have line etchings down the front sides. They both have splash backs with matching veneers. The bedside chests boast traditional round cornered edges which are mirrored in the supporting mahogany plinths. The back boards are also mahogany. Both chests are constructed of top quality timber. During this period, England was imported top quality timber from the colonies.
These chests would look superb in a variety of rooms from the bedroom to the living room. These chests would certainly grace any home and a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don’t miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.
