This is an attractive and good quality pair of antique Regency mahogany demi lune console tables, circa 1820. Constructed with lovely solid mahogany figured tops, the tables feature a bow front design above an indented bow front frame finished with an inlaid ebony frieze. Ebony inlay was commonly used in good quality Regency furniture of this period. The tables stand on elegant ring turned tapering legs. The tables can be joined together to form a circular dining table if required. As these are narrow tables, they would also look ideal in a hallway as a pair of console tables.
The tables feature a mellow brown mahogany colour. As they boast the original polish,they have a fantastic colour and patination this can only be achieved through the years of care and cleaning they have received.

This pair of tables is in good original condition. Nominal old used marks to the leading edges and top, but nothing significant considering the age of them. As they boast the original polish, they have a fantastic colour and patination this can only be achieved through the years of care and cleaning they have received. There is no missing ebony inlay to the frieze. The tables stand firm, are solid in joint and ready to use.
