Here is an example of a superb pair of antique Cuban mahogany stand / dining dining chairs, circa 1820, constructed with a naval theme to commemorate the battle of Trafalgar in 1805. Both “drop in” seats have been newly upholstered with a grey linen material. The back rail features carved scrolls to each corner with a floral carved pediment. Below the central back rail, the central splat also features a carving. The frame is supported by turned front fluted legs. The backs of the legs are saber shaped which is a sign of good quality. The chairs are firm and would look good anywhere especially as they are comfortable and consume little space.
This item would look superb in a variety of rooms, especially the hallway, bedroom or dining room. This item would certainly grace any home or office and a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don’t miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.

These chairs are in excellent condition commensurate with their age. Excellent colour patination to the Cuban mahogany. No breaks to the backs or legs. The “drop in” seats feature new grey linen upholstery and therefore they are completely clean and in excellent condition. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.
