Here is an example of a superb pair of antique rosewood upholstered stand, dining or hall chairs, circa 1850. Both chairs feature stuff over drop in seats with newly upholstered green and gold damask material. The chairs feature a shaped floral mahogany frame back with floral caving to the central rail and back rest. The serpentine seats feature floral carvings to the centre and top of the cabriole legs. The backs of the legs are shaped which is a sign of good quality. The chairs are firm and would look good anywhere especially as they are comfortable and consume little space.
This item would look superb in a variety of rooms, especially the hallway, bedroom or dining room. This item would certainly grace any home or office and a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don’t miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.
