This is an attractive and good quality antique Sheraton style mahogany serpentine writing table, circa 1940. The desk features a mahogany cross banded top, dove tailed drawer construction, mahogany drawer linings, and gun metal fretted swan neck handles. The front features an attractive serpentine front and it sits on four Sheraton style reeded tapering legs which terminate in spade feet. The table sits on Sheraton style reeded tapering legs. The desk can either stand in the centre of a room or against a wall. The drawer linings are constructed of mahogany.

Condition Report:
In very good condition commensurate with age. There are no scratches or damage to the mahogany desk top. Nominal old use marks and minor scratches to the leading edges of the wooden desk but nothing significant considering the age of the item. All drawers are in good working order. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.
