This is an attractive and very good quality antique small mahogany Victorian nursing chair, circa 1840 – 1850. The nursing chair is construed of solid mahogany and features decorative tall back upholstered in a green floral draylon. The back legs are splayed which is a good sign of quality. The front legs are turned with brass beads at the base. The four legs sit on the original ceramic castors. The seat is fully sprung and is extremely comfortable. The upholstery is a light green floral draylon.
