This is an example of a very good quality and original antique Victorian Bentwood hallstand, circa 1900 in original excellent condition. The top section features 6 curved “s” shaped coat hooks above a large central turned column, which terminates with a turned finial. Further below, the base features a circular ring, which supports umbrellas. Four splayed legs support the hallstand firmly on the ground. The hallstand dismantles into two sections for easy transport
This item features a rich near dark colour (similar to ebony). As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
