This is a superb quality solid mahogany early Victorian Colonial Partners desk originating from the Foreign Office in Cairo within the UK Government, circa 1850 – 1870 constructed with the best quality mahogany. It has recently been restored and boasts colonial brass flush handles with 4x graduated drawers in each pedestal on one side and 3x drawers on the other side of the desk. The back of the desk features 2x lockable cupboard (one with a shelf and other as a filing cupboard. The desk is complete with working keys and original locks. The drawer fronts, drawer lining and top are constructed of mahogany. The desk dismantles into three sections for easy storage or transportation.
