Here is a stunning quality small antique Victorian English burr walnut carved tripod wine table, circa 1860. The table, which is constructed of burr walnut, features a mahogany cross-banded hexagonal top. The top features stunning grain configuration. The top is finished with an elegant carved floral moulding. The table features a well shaped and very good quality ring turned and fluted pedestal stem, which terminates in lovely umbrella shaped floral carved legs. This table is completely original (i.e. the top and the base are not a marriage) without any breaks or damage and has fantastic colour / patination.
This item features a mid brown to mellow walnut colour. It has a fantastic colour and patination this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
