This is a superb quality antique English Victorian upholstered mahogany cabriole leg chaise longue, circa 1860. The chaise boasts (when facing) a carved left hand arm, a raised sweeping back with carved cartouches to the frame. The back frame sweeps down finishing in a carved frame. The front of the chaise features a straight rail and the end of the chaise has a bow end. The chaise is upholstered with a rich orange and gold brocade material. The chaise features the original cabriole legs to the back and front. The frame and legs are constructed of solid mahogany. The chaise can seat up to 3 persons.
