This is a fantastic quality antique French 19th Century five plank solid cherry wood refectory farmhouse 10’ 6” dining table, circa 1870. The table top is constructed of five single cherry wood plans finished with cleated end and dowelled and pegged tenons (these are a sign of good quality) and sits on tapered legs. There is a central leg to support the weight of the table. The table features two large working drawers. The table top and base is original. The table top features a very good colour / patination. The table seats between 12 – 16 people and is sufficiently tall enough to fit your legs underneath and is sufficiently wide to accommodate serving dishes in the centre of the table. The table is designed to be dismantled for easy transportation.

Condition Report:
In very good condition commensurate with age. The table features the original top, base, drawers and legs. The drawer knobs have been replaced a long time ago. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. Free of active wood worm, solid in joint, very heavy and ready to use.
