Description:
Here is a good quality Anglo-Indian leaf carved and bone inlaid teak circular occasional side table, circa 1980, in excellent condition. The table boasts profusely carved top, comprising an outer ring of pierced fretwork foliate carvings, an inner ring of floral fretwork carvings, finished at the centre with bone floral inlay. The top is supported by three profusely carved legs, which feature further foliate carvings, as well as geometric zig-zag and patterned carvings. It would make an ideal wine, lamp tables or plant stand. The table boasts a mellow rustic teak colour. The table would look superb in a variety of rooms, particularly the hallway or living room.

Condition Report:
This Anglo Indian side table is in excellent condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and tops but nothing significant considering the age of the item. There is a lovely warm mellow colour to the top and stems. Importantly, there are no breaks to the stem or legs, which is common with tripod tables. The top and base are original to each other. The top and base are permanently fixed together; the top is not free-standing. The table is solid in joint and ready to use.
