Description:
This is a good quality antique English Edwardian solid oak & cane stick & umbrella hall-stand, with three tin drip trays, circa 1910, in excellent condition. The stand comprises a rectangular frame, partitioned into three sections. The frame is raised on ring turned supports, topped with turned spherical shaped finials. Below, the supports are united by stretchers for additional strength. The stand also features cane panels to the front, sides and rear. Fitting neatly within the stretchers are three later removable tin drip trays. The stand is raised on turned feet. The item is solid in joint and ready to use.
This stick stand features a rich brown oak colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

Condition Report:
This is a good quality antique English Edwardian solid oak & cane stick & umbrella hall-stand, with three tin drip trays, circa 1910, in excellent condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The stand has been cleaned and wax-polished by hand, to a professional standard, in our workshop. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination. There is no damage to the oak frame, support columns or feet. The cane panels are all original, with no missing pieces. The removable tin drip trays are of a later age, which care in good overall condition with age-related wear visible. This item is solid in joint and ready to use.
