The armchair features a comfortable curved bar back, connected to wrap around arms, supported by an elegant vertical fan back. The chair seat has been recently upholstered with a light tan full grain green leather, which has been finished with hand-tacked brass studs to the perimeter. The desk chair has been cleaned and French polished, by hand, to a professional standard. The office chair incorporates a revolving mechanism and it rotates 360 degrees; the seat height can be adjusted by turning a ribbed metal screw on the underside of the chair. The mechanism also features a reclining action, the tension of which can be adjusted by turning a small wheel at the front of the mechanism. The chair mechanism is in good working order. The chair sits on four splayed solid oak legs that terminate on top quality replacement English made solid brass castors, which are in excellent condition. The chair frame is sturdy and the item is extremely comfortable to sit on, as it features a lovely padded seat.
