This is a very good quality Antique Oak Side Table, circa 1680 – 1700. It is in a very condition there are no cracks. The construction uses peg joints with four stretchers and old replacement brass knobs.
This item would look superb in a variety of rooms from the kitchen, hallway, to the living room, dining room or bedroom. This item would certainly grace any home. So don’t miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.
Imperfections
The tips of the feet have been replaced some time ago. The two back legs have been repaired from 4” from the base some time ago. The stretchers have possibly been replaced some time ago. There is a small cup mark on top of table – it is not very noticeable. There is a small water stain on top of table – again, this not very noticeable. These marks could be removed with minor re-polishing (if necessary) otherwise they add character to the item There is an ink stain in the drawer. The brass knobs have been replaced some time ago. Given the age of this item these imperfections are perfectly acceptable and they all add to the character.
