This gilt and ebony Regency mirror boasts the original distressed gilding, constructed of pine wooden frame (most gilt mirrors were constructed of pine in this period), circa 1812 – 1830 (Regency period). It displays half oval columns, leaf decoration on the top border, gilt balls and flower paterae. Inside the frame an ebonised wooden insert holds the mirror in place.
