This is an elegant mid Victorian Oak Welsh Dresser base, circa 1860. The dresser stands on three cabriole front legs which in turn shoulders an elegant fret work frieze above which is housed three working drawers with original drawer linings and brass handles. The dresser is of mid-to-dark oak and the top shows a moulded edge of Georgian design.
This dresser base is an excellent investment and would look superb in a variety of rooms from the kitchen, hall way or the living room. This dresser base would certainly grace any home. So don’t miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.
Condition Report:
The dresser has been sympathetically wax polished. A short crack to one side of the top has been restored, also some shakes in the sides panels have been attended to. The dresser is completely free of wood worm.
