This is a superb quality antique English Edwardian upholstered oak rail-back chaise longue, circa 1901 – 1910. The frame and turned legs are constructed of solid oak terminating in the original turned legs and ceramic mug castors. The frame features an attractive up-swept carved left hand arm with pretty floral carvings to the arm and back and a straight front. There is a double back-rail to the back of the chaise. The front fascia is mirrored in the back design. The frame is covered with gold floral moquette upholstery which is very clean in great condition. The chaise can seat up to 3 persons.

Condition Report:
In excellent condition. The arms and back of the couch are firm. The chaise has been re-upholstered in the gold floral moquette upholstery you see. There are no marks, tears or rips to the upholstery. The braiding is in excellent condition and is firmly attached to the couch. The springs in the seat are firm and in good condition. The ceramic mug castors are original. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.
