This is an attractive and good quality antique mahogany leather pedestal desk, circa 1950 – 1970 styled in the period of the George III era. The desk features a single panel green and gold leather tooled insert on the top. The desk features a serpentine shape front and below there are two rectangular pedestals, swan neck handles and decorative external panels terminating in Georgian style bracket feet. The desk features a working key for the top three drawers and a filing drawer below. The desk can either stand in the centre of a room or against a wall. The frame, drawer linings and sides are constructed of engineered timber with a fantastic mahogany veneer. The desk dismantles into three sections (top and two pedestals) for easy transportation.

In very good condition, considering its age the leather is in good condition there are no rips or tears. Nominal old use marks and scratches to the leading edges nothing uncommon or significant for an item this age. The desk has a working key to the top three drawers only. The frame, drawer linings and sides are constructed of engineered timber with a fantastic mahogany veneer. The drawers below do not feature locks. Free of woodworm, solid in joint and ready to use.
