Here is a very good quality pair of 6ft 7” wide French antique provincial cherry wood benches, circa 1850. The benches are constructed from top quality solid cherry wood using the traditional peg construction method. The seat ends are elegantly arched at either end to provide an attractive shape and give the benches some detail. The benches sit on a pair of sturdy shaped style legs with connected stretcher supports below the seat for added strength and stability. The style legs are shaped (which is a sign of good quality). As these benches are constructed of cherry wood, there is a fantastic soft grain configuration to the seats.
As this item boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination this can only be achieved through age and the years of care and cleaning they have received.
This item would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room, dining room, home office or kitchen. This item would certainly grace any home and a great investment, as they are an extremely functional. So don’t miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.
