This is a good quality pair of Regency style inlaid mahogany sofa side tables, circa 1920 – 1940. They each have a brushing slide at the top of the table, below are an open storage area and at the bottom of the table are a working drawer with hand dovetailed joints and mahogany drawer linings (a sign of good quality). The drawer fronts feature satinwood and ebony string inlay along with cross banding. The drawers feature the original brass circular knobs. The tops of the bedsides feature a shaped gallery. The turned legs sit on the original brass knobs. This is a very decorative pair of whatnot chests.
These whatnot chests would look superb in a variety of rooms from the hall way, living room or the bedroom. These chests would certainly grace any home and are a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don’t miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.

Condition Report:
These side tables are in a very good condition. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The brushing slides open and close flush to the frame. The bedsides feature the original brass regency style knobs. The drawers are mahogany drawer lined with a plywood base. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.
