This is a great quality pair of antique serpentine shaped French oak bedside cupboards, circa 1900 – 1920. They each have two drawers with hand dovetailed joints and the original brass knob. Either side of the drawers there is an open cupboard area. Below sits a shaped frieze. They boast a lovely serpentine design to the fronts of the chests and the whole sits on cabriole legs. The drawer linings are constructed of oak. These bedsides chests boast the classic French chateau styling that you see in furniture of this period.
These cupboards would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room to the bedroom. They would certainly grace any home and are a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don’t miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.

These bedside cupboards are in excellent condition and commensurate with age. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The drawers are smooth running and close flush to the frame. The drawer linings are constructed of solid oak. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.
