This is a pretty pair of antique Georgian style yew wood bedside chests, circa 1950 – 1970. The styling represents the Georgian period. The bedside chests are constructed of yew wood veneer and feature a straight front, cross banded yew wood tops, dovetailed drawer fronts and small brass knobs on the front of the drawers. The bedsides feature a superb yew wood colour / grain configuration. There are four working drawers to each bedside. The chests terminate in Georgian style bracket feet.
These chests would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room to the bedroom. These chests would certainly grace any home and are a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don’t miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.

Condition Report:
These bedside chests are in excellent condition and commensurate with age. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The drawers are smooth running and close flush to the frame. The yew wood is veneered. The brass knobs are original. The drawer linings and drawer bottoms are constructed of mahogany. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.
