This is a superb quality pair of mahogany and brass inlaid Regency style coffee tables, circa 1950 – 1970. The reeded tops of the tables are inlaid with shaped swirls of brass inlay to the perimeter. Below, the table sits on two elegant Regency style reeded and splayed legs. These are also inlaid with brass motifs and brass string inlay. The legs are connected by a turned stretcher, which is also inlaid with brass motifs in the centre. It is rare to see a set of coffee tables of this quality as a pair of tables.
These coffee tables features the original polish, therefore they boast a rich deep colour and patination. They are in excellent robust condition. This is an extremely useful piece of furniture and a great asset to have in any office, living room or hallway and it consumes very little space.
It has a beautiful deep rich patina, which has been generated by the years of cleaning and care it has received.
