This is a fantastic set of quality antique Regency rosewood set of six dining chairs, circa 1812 – 1830, constructed with a naval theme to commemorate the battle of Trafalgar in 1805. The chairs feature a curved bar back with fanned carving above. The central splats feature two crown pattern motifs each side. The chair sits on turned and fluted tapered legs. To the back, the chair sits on sabre legs. The carving is extremely crisp. All six chairs feature cane work seats and traditional upholstered swab matching cushions.
