Here is a very good quality antique Victorian solid oak cricket table, circa 1880, originating from Lancashire, in the North West of England. The top is constructed from solid golden oak and features a wonderful golden oak original colour and measures 2ft in diameter. Likewise, the triangular legs are solid oak and below, they connect to a useful lower oak tray shelf with raised sides. This table is completely original (i.e. the top and the base are not a marriage) without any breaks or damage and has fantastic colour / patination.
The table would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room, dining room or hallway. The table would certainly grace any home and is a great investment as it is extremely functional. So don’t miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.
Condition Report:
This table is in excellent original condition. The top and base are original (i.e. they are not a marriage. Importantly, there are no breaks to the stem or legs, which is common with tripod tables. Nominal old use marks to the top and tray but nothing significant considering the age of the item. Free of woodworm, solid in joint and ready to use.
