Here is an example of a very good quality North Wales George III oak wall hanging cupboard, circa 1760 – 1790. The cupboard boasts a protruding cornice above four fielded oak panels to the two doors. The doors feature the original brass escutcheon with two Victorian brass knobs. The cupboard features the original working locks and a key. Inside the cupboard there are three original pine shelves which are adjustable to seven different heights. This is a sought after size cupboard and can be hung on either a small or large wall.

This cupboard is commensurate with age and is ready to use. The cupboard features the original doors, hinges, working lock and escutcheon. The brass knobs have been replaced in the Victorian period. There is a working lock and key. The pine shelves are original. The oak back boards to the back of the cupboard are original. The cupboard features two recent brass hanging plates either side to allow it to be fixed to the wall. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The item is solid in joint.
