This is a very good quality antique English mahogany Regency / William IV double scroll end couch, circa 1830 – 1840. The frame and turned legs are constructed of solid mahogany terminating in the original brass socket castors. The frame features attractive up-swept arms with a pretty floral carved fascia with a fan motif at the end of each corner of the couch. The frame is covered in Regency stripe floral damask material. The couch features a lift up swab cushion and two bolster cushions at each end. The couch will seat 3 – 4 persons.
