The padded back and sprung seat has been upholstered in top quality burgundy red Rexene leather, which has been finished with hand-tacked brass studs to the perimeter. The underside of the seat has been re-webbed in the traditional manner. The chair sits on four splayed oak legs that terminate on brass castors. The chair rotates 360 degrees; the seat height can be adjusted by turning a ribbed metal screw on the underside of the chair. The chair mechanism is in good working order having been cleaned and serviced in our workshop. The chair also features a reclining action; the reclining tension can also be adjusted. The armchair is extremely comfortable to sit on as it features a lovely padded seat.
