Description:
Here is a fine quality antique English Georgian style oak provincial side table, which has been constructed in the Victorian period, circa 1860, displaying a lovely rich colour and patination, in excellent original condition. The table incorporates a twin-plank moulded top above a single drawer. The drawer features the original brass pear drop handles on circular escutcheons. The oak-lined drawer is constructed with butt joints, runs smoothly and closes flush to the frame. Below, the table is raised on simple turned baluster legs, which are united by stretchers, giving the item additional strength. The table features the original top and backboard to the rear; the frame has been constructed in the traditional method.
This item features a lovely rich dark brown oak colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

This table is in good original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, drawer front and top, but nothing significant considering the age of the item (see photos). The table features the original top and backboard to the rear; the frame has been constructed in the traditional joined construction method. The table boasts a lovely rich dark colour and patination.
